Jackson: Reserve Winner's Dog

10/17/09

This past Saturday and Sunday we drove to Cartersville, GA for the GAASC ASCA Show. Jackson took Reserve Winner's Dog in the morning show to a 4 point major under ASCA Judge Maarten Walter. Jackson was shown beautifully by Phyllis Pierce of BlueNoteAussies.

As the wind made the temperature drop, everyone stuck it out, and we're glad we did, because Jackson took Reserve Winner's Dog again under Judge Susan Catlin in the evening show. We would like to thank both judges for recognizing our boy.

The Peach Blossom Cluster

04/16/09

Saturday April 11th, Jackson took Reserve Winner's Dog in the Australian Shepherd group. The show was called The Peach Blossom Cluster, and is one of the largest AKC (American Kennel Club) dog shows in Georgia. This was Jackson's first AKC show, and what a show. There were at least a thousand different dogs in all shapes, sizes, and breeds, and to accommodate all of the beautiful dogs, we enjoyed showing indoors at the Georgia State Fairgrounds in Perry.

Jackson was handled beautifully by Phyllis Pierce of Blue Note Aussies. Please watch for this team in upcoming AKC and ASCA shows.

JACKSON Takes Reserve AGAIN!!

03/21/09

Saturday March 14th, Jackson took Reserve Winner's Dog in the afternoon show under Judge Sheila Hall. Most of the day, it was pouring down rain, but Jackson was undaunted and still showed his heart out.

Sunday March 15th, Jackson took Reserve Winner's Dog (AGAIN!!) in the morning show under Judge Rick Gann. Due to the muddy conditions, they moved the show under cover. Boy were we relieved!

Again, thanks to Phyllis Pierce of Blue Note Aussies, who did a wonderful job handling Jackson in spite of the cold and wet weather. Also, thanks to Lori Brewster for helping me with my Suburban's dead battery.
